Ink signature, “Respectfully, Jefferson Davis,” on an off-white slip, dated May 25, 1880, in another hand. Matted and framed, with an engraved portrait bearing a printed signature, to an overall size of 12.5 x 17. In very good condition, with signature and sentiment fairly light, but legible, and a bit of mild edge toning.
